Print Ready Format

File Format

We accept your images for canvas printing in TIFF, JPEG, RAW or nearly any other format.  If you are sending your photos via our photo upload form , it’s best to use a JPEG format. This ensures that your file size does not exceed the recommended 10Mb transfer size (20Mb will be excepted but please be patient as it may take time).  If your file is larger than 20Mb please phone us on 07 3368 1390 so we can advise you on alternatives.

Image Quality

If you are concerned about the quality of your image for canvas print repoduction please contact our staff as we often make extremely good canvas prints from even very low resolution images.  

Colour

Changes in colour vary from computer screen to screen, slight changes in colour may occur from what you see at home to the final canvas print.  This is inevitable due to many computer screens artificially enhancing the brightness and colour of images.

In the studio we calibrate to RGB 1998 format and write our own colour profiles to exactly match the canvas we are printing on, therefore your canvas print colour will be exactly as the camera took the image.

Image Editing

All canvas prints receive up to 20 minutes free editing time by our resident photo editor.  This time will be specifically spent correcting any imperfections in the image caused by dust or dirt on the lens or scratches, improving softness, colour, clarity and sharpness of the image.
