In the last part of 2009 ROC Gallery and Print Studio added a new addition to their printing family with the purchase of a new superior 12 colour 60inch printer. What this means is the ability to easily print photos on canvas up to 150cm x 300cm +. This is a stretched, finished canvas print size of 140cm x 300cm. The is the widest printing available for Giclee prints and is perfect for domestic and corporate spaces with very large walls wanting to maximize their canvas print space. This is one of only a few printers this size available in Australia and we are delighted to be able to offer this service to our new and existing customers.

Caring for your photo on canvas - How to clean a photo on canvas

Canvas prints are quite durable, but they do still require specific care and attention. To clean your photo on canvas all you need to do is give your canvas print a light dust. If your canvas becomes soiled, just wipe gently with a damp cloth. Each ROC Canvas Print is coated with a special laminate / varnish coating. This coating protects your canvas print from abrasions and UV, plus it is what gives your canvas that really nice finish. It is important that when cleaning canvas prints that you do not use any solvents or cleaning chemicals as the chemicals will damage this protective coating.

Transporting you Photo on Canvas:
When transporting and storing your photo on canvas be careful not to lean anything against the canvas side, as canvas is stretchy and may stretch a little out of shape (don’t worry too much if it does, it will usually get back into shape pretty quickly too).
