Caring for Your Canvas
Canvas prints are quite durable. To clean, all you need to do is give your canvas print a light dust. If your canvas becomes soiled just wipe gently with a damp cloth, please don’t use any cleaning products however. We coat every canvas print with 3 coats of a special laminate to protect your print from UV, sunlight and abrasions. If you use a cleaning agent you will be damaging the protective laminate coating.
Please also be careful not to lean anything against the canvas side, as canvas is stretchy and may stretch a little out of shape.
Your ROC Canvas Print is designed to last longer than you will, and with the right care you will be enjoying your print for a long time to come.
Photographing People Without Showing Their Face?
So how do you take a portrait without seeing the persons face? A photograph that does not show the face can still tell a story and be very aesthetically pleasing to the eye, here are two ideas:
1. Try using distance – a person in the distance or walking away from the camera can create a story in itself.
2. Or, what about using a silhouette effect by photographing the person in the shadow and the light in the background. Sunsets are great for this.
A final note: The person does not have to be the focus of your image, be creative.
